Stella Sparks was born in Northern, Ohio. Her career began as a clothing designer in NYC, and later an interior designer and boutique retailer in Florida. Self-proclaimed never to retire, this is her next chapter. “I have lived life for 10 people” Thus began the journey of writing, Sparks an old romantic soul who looks to Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Sofia Lauren for inspiration for their timeless beauty and elegance. She has chosen fiction, romance and mystery novels with a bit of suspense and a twist of a lesson or two for those who wish to join her on this adventure! She hopes her stories will be heartwarming tales for the world to embrace and enjoy.
Her passion for reading began at an early age, always on a quest for knowledge and history. She is creative in every aspect of her being, writing seemed natural to extend her crazy overactive brain. Inspired by so many writers, movies and plays over the years she has made this a platform for those wanting an infusion of mystery and suspense, long lost love and romance and hope for that happily ever after. There are little notes of forgiveness and redemption for those choices one makes throughout life that don’t always pan out as planned!
She has an eye for great design and anything pink. Her thinkinpink.org is a digital catalog of the latest trends in pink décor and more allowing her to keep a hand and pulse on the design world. Family and Friends had coined her as always “seeing the world through rose colored glasses.” Her Mission statement "Pink is my comfort color!” will hopefully provide the space to express your “pink side of life" while enjoying the twists and turns her stories take you. In doing so you will contribute to the support of Susan G. Komen foundation.

What are you doing the rest of your life…rang in Diandra’s Peter’s head and heart the entire 20-hour drive from New Jersey to Florida. The old Fiat 5oo was filled to the brim with all the clothes and shoes she could fit her accountant wanted driven to Ft Lauderdale. Everything else was in some rented truck she blew by on I-95 miles ago. What had she done?
She left her entire world behind in a cloud of pink dust.
About to be 30, Diandra’s life was total uncertainty, and utter chaos. Her marriage, career, friends and maybe the ability to have children were soon to be a distant memory. She made the choice to leave her husband Nicholas of barely 3 years with the hope he would follow her to the land filled with sunshine, sandy beaches and opportunity…they could do anything together…but would he?
Her marriage was never a marriage, yes, she had the perfect pink diamond ring, the gorgeous blush designer gown, the country club wedding, the honeymoon in sunny Italy. But she never imagined life would be joined at the hip with his entire family. Being the only son with 3 sisters and a mother who thought she was Princess Grace, only without the monarchy money was not what she signed up for. Then factored in was the family business she joined just before walking down the aisle. It was a chance to be on her own as a designer in the late 80’s, or so she thought. Her family had just relocated to Ft Lauderdale from Michigan. This seemed like the perfect place to try and sort out her life. Nicholas’ s family consumed her for the past 5 years. She took a rental close the beach hoping she could come to terms with her decision. Secretly praying Nicholas would miraculously come to his senses and show up with a giant bouquet of pink roses ready to start life together.
It was the early nineties, the internet was just introduced to the world, little did Diandra know what opportunities were ahead in this new world of digital design, marketing and retail. After getting her head out of the sand she was ready to find her way and create her own palatial palace surrounded by everything in pink!
They say finding love later in life comes with baggage. Little did Dianna Richard’s know how many bags one could carry. After ten years of being single in her early 50’s, still spunky and sexy. She takes a chance on an internet date. The two-hour coffee meet- up then becomes lunch with bubbly and could have been dinner and no telling what else…had she not had previous plans. Their chemistry was magnetic. Nate, with his piercing blue eyes, striking refined features and quite fit for 59 was a welcome sight. He shined with his killer smile and strong hands along with those Ferragamo loafers, he made a quite the first impression.
Their conversation was so easy. They could have talked all day and night. He appeared to be the soul mate she had been waiting for all these years. Handsome, sexy, and financially secure, a refreshing combination! When they finally said goodbye, it was that first mouthwatering, leg lifting kiss that sent butterflies fluttering through her tummy.
Dianna’s love affair and roller coaster life with Nate takes her down a path she did not see coming.
How do you identify or try to understand a Sociopath?
Could a childhood tragedy claim the life of someone who was never treated for the trauma they encountered so young?
Does it truly define you?
Her journey tests all her strength, endurance, and patience. She has no idea the length of lies, betrayal, and deception he is capable of…
Did you ever wonder what goes through the mind of someone after a debilitating stroke? No one expected she would make it through the night, not even the priest that administered last rights.
Audrey Reece’s life was coined “She was never satisfied “ by her oldest daughter Daniella. She was a stunning woman even into her later years. Photogenic until the end, the peacefulness was so evident as she was waiting to die. But why did it take her 8 days? The priest had his theories, close friends and relatives had theirs. From all accounts of Audrey’s life and the struggles she may have had not wanting to let go are a tale of the challenges that existed in the 50’s for women who wanted it all. The glamour of a career and a family and the choices and sacrifices one makes to have it. Growing up the second in line of 4 girls in a small farm town in the Midwest, she was the black sheep of the bunch. Her looks were unlike her 3 sisters. Everyone said she was the milkman’s daughter. She always thought the grass was greener and, in her hometown, there was a lot of green grass. Living in a tiny 2 bedroom home next to the outhouse and chicken coop was not the vision Audrey wanted for her life. She could not wait to get out of life on a farm, milking cows and feeding pigs and chickens was soon to be a distant memory. She craved the modern conveniences a big city could offer, including the allure and its glamour.
Not soon after throwing her cap in the air after graduating from high school, she packed her belongings and headed north on a Greyhound bus destined for Harbor Springs. Searching for the ultimate dream, an exciting job and a handsome husband. Her sister’s thought she had lost her mind…gone mad to just get on a bus destined for the unknown all alone. Little did they know the power of her will and determination.
She injected Daniella with that same fierce spirit to find a career that she would not need a man or be dependent on a husband…and she could do or have anything she wanted…but why?

Life was not the love affair it had been for the past 5 years for Dena Rosa. Teddy’s impending divorce, reigniting a racing career and traveling for it had put a strain on their relationship. Could she face the fact that they may be drifting apart? Well, it’s now or never…curiosity was getting the best of her. Alone in the house… after pacing for a few minutes, she decided she could handle whatever she may find in his briefcase left behind. But what she found was beyond any of the scenarios she had running through her mind…
The fairytale life Dena Rosa had fallen into for the better part of 5 years starts to unravel, the life that Dena thought was Her’s was changing before she could realize what was happening. She was a runaway train…Dena was warned about taking on Winter Parc’s most reckless gentleman…little did she know the length of cold and callousness his thorns could unleash.
This was her wakeup call… She was caught up in a relationship that had just thrown her a major curveball and truly didn’t know which way to turn or how she could have been so blind.
South Florida in late September was a scorcher and today was no different. Finally getting her head out of the sand Donatella was to meet with Sofia Vittore, Vice President of the local Italian Charity for a coffee. They agreed to meet at Starbucks, but both confused the street. After a quick cell call, they finally connected. It was chemistry with a capital C. Her beauty was breathtaking, perfectly coiffed silver hair, stature and poise that was remarkable and the spunk of a 30-year-old. Little did she know that meeting this most amazing woman of 83 years old over a cappuccino would someday lead Donatella to sharing the inspiration, wisdom and love Sofia restored in her with the world. Donatella and Sofia connected immediately; she became Donatella’s guardian angel. They began a friendship like no other, she was the Florida daughter Sofia was missing and to Donatella she was the mother she never had in her own. This tale of passion, persistence, patience and hope restored the desire to fight for her life and love again.
A few months into her 45th year, Donatella was still trying to recover from the only man that had ever truly broke her heart and left her. It was overwhelming to get her lifepath back on some course that would bring a sense of purpose. She had just returned to south Florida after walking away from her world and selling her business. Alone and childless was like a death sentence to Donatella at her age... until Sofia and Peter introduced her to Lorenzo.
With a name like Dalia Diamond she always thought she should have been a Tiffany model for diamonds! A challenging year after the crash of the housing market, Dalhia needs a job. She was the queen of the most elusive and exclusive jewelry establishment in Palm Shores… until the owner was indicted for embezzling. Needing a change of scenery, she heads to NYC for a visit and perhaps with some luck, landing a job at the ultimate jewelry store in the world.
It's fall and the city is bustling with the elegance she missed living in Florida. Men in suits and cashmere coats, women in the ubiquitous LBD, pearls and fur. Making her way to 5th Avenue from the fabulous Phillip Stark Royalton Hotel, she has decided to take herself into Tiffany’s with the hope that the perfect dream job will be waiting for her. The store is busy for Tuesday at 4, a very handsome man greets her at the door. She decided to take it all in slowly as she made her way to the top floor of Human Resources. Dalia stops on the estate jewelry floor and is in awe of the pearl and diamond necklace behind the glass. Turning to continue her way around the floor she is stopped by a very elegant women who could not help but complement her classic look and jewelry. 30 minutes later she was whisked off to HR for an introduction and possibly the opportunity of a lifetime.
Her friends and family had heard her mantra over and over for years…I came in 59 and I shall go out with dignity at 59. Davina Donavan was soon to be 59 in less than one short year. She did not want to get old, ugly or unhealthy. Never wanting a surprise birthday party all her life, she agreed to one at 59, should her family deem it. Her 58 years had been amazing, she still had the good looks she was born with, her spunky personality and a smile that was contagious. Always knowing that she wanted to design clothing since her great aunt taught her to sew. In 10 short years she achieved a renowned career as an RTW designer with her namesake worldwide. A husband she still adored after 35 years, 6 beautiful children and 3 precious grandchildren. Why would she still entertain that voice in her head after all these years and all that she accomplished, let alone all the lives she touched with her magical persona.
It was that fateful day finding out that she had the big C that sent her into a tailspin…reality check! This was her perfect way out, she first thought. Keeping the diagnosis a secret for over a month from everyone from her husband and children to her best friend Maria. She thought she could hide her slowdown, her paleness and her irritability. It was only after landing at Kennedy airport after a 3-day fabric show in Milan, feeling like she could die at any moment that she broke down. When the taxi dropped her at home, she made the call and let her family in on the secret she had carried around for the last month.
Could they convince her to take the steps she needed for treatment or would she stick to her mantra?
